Black Bottle Brewery

Fort Collins, Colorado has grown into the bona-fide center of the craft beer scene throughout America. Thus, it can be a really tough place for any aspiring beermaker to break through and find success, but for Black Bottle Brewery owner, Sean Nook, Northern Colorado has always been home and because of that, he has been able to understand the local scene better than most and turn that knowledge and love for crafting beer into a wild success.

Black Bottle Brewery Fort Collins

Sean Nook, brew master at Black Bottle Brewery and company founder, was raised in Fort Collins, Colorado and has watched the region firsthand grow into the largest beer market in the nation. Nook married his high school sweetheart in 2005 and the couple have since started their own beautiful family and awesome brewery to boot. For Nook, beermaking began as a hobby in the early 2000’s, as he became infatuated with home brewing and creating wild and unique concoctions for his family and friends. With the right encouragement and backing, Nook turned his garage-based operation into a career. Taking months and years of late-night hard work, Nook eventually opened up Black Bottle Brewery to bring his dreams of creative beermaking to life.

Black Bottle Brewery is most known for their outside-of-the-box recipes and ingredients that the rest of the traditional brewing industry is hesitant to embrace. Black Bottle Brewery uses radical ingredients along with non-traditional brewing styles and techniques to craft some of Northern Colorado’s most unique flavors and brews. Black Bottle Brewery is located just to the south of Colorado State University and directly in the heart of what is considered “Midtown” Fort Collins. Black Bottle Brewery is also one of the only brew pubs in Fort Collins that has its own kitchen, providing visitors with fantastic food to go along with its brave and bold beers. To go along with its great food and brews, Black Bottle Brewery sports a unique atmosphere of graffiti murals and indie rock bands playing all the time for customers to take in and enjoy.
