Rally King Brewing
Fort Collins, Colorado, has become home to the most breweries per square mile in the United States, making Northern Colorado the unofficial capitol of beermaking in the country. Though there are plenty of different breweries that provide beer-lovers with an array of flavors and experiences to enjoy, one of the more locally renowned and heralded breweries is Rally King Brewing for their friendly atmosphere, community involvement, and of course, delicious beers.
Rally King Brewing has a unique and charming history that most residents of the Northern Colorado region can appreciate and identify with. Rally King Brewing owner and head brewer, Matt Kriewall, was born and raised in Saratoga, California where he attended high school and eventually earned his Bachelor’s degree from San Jose State University. Growing up, Kriewall developed a love for adventure sports such as waterskiing, competitive cycling, wrestling, and rock climbing. Through his enjoyment of rock climbing, he met his future wife, Michelle, and they both embarked on a rock climbing road trip which brought them to Fort Collins in 1995. Both Matt and Michelle quickly fell in love with the region and after marrying in 1996, they decided to move to Fort Collins.
Upon moving to the Northern Colorado area, Matt Kriewall, who also attained a Doctorate degree in Chiropractic Medicine, opened a clinic named Vital Link Chiropractic in 1997. His wife, Michelle, worked as a substitute teacher until they had their two children and then worked to help her husband manage his chiropractor business. Fast-forward to 2009 when Matt received a beer-making kit as a gift and he began experimenting with home brewing. What started off as a hobby quickly transformed into a competitive endeavor for Kriewall as he began to enter home brew after home brew into beer contests and found an immense amount of success, winning more than 80 awards over a three-year span. With some encouragement from his family and friends, Kriewall decided to invest his own money into opening Rally King Brewing in 2015, and has found success bringing his unique recipes to locals ever since.

Rally King Brewing is located right next to the Spring Creek Trail and is very bike friendly, pet friendly, and children friendly. If needed, you can book their outdoor patio for your event and Rally King Brewing offers plenty of classic board games and televisions with sports packages for your viewing to enjoy.

Rally King Brewing primarily features a robust selection of rotating beers to give customers a fresh and unique selection of brews to enjoy. Some of the rotating favorites that locals enjoy include a Coconut Chocolate Porter (Porter), the Old No. 7 (English Pale Ale), the Straw House (Witbier), the Keith & Willy (Chili Beer), the Coquina Beach (Golden / Blonde Ale), the Citra-licious Grapefruit IPA (American IPA, and the Prospector’s Porridge (Oatmeal Stout). In addition to their always rotating beer selection, Rally King Brewing does offer a couple of year-round local favorites in the Surfer Girl IPA (American IPA) and the Tanlines (American Amber Ale / Red Ale).
